The following officers now commissioned
officers & men of the 1st A.C.C.S. are worthy
of special recognition on account of their
untiring zeal in the performance of their duties
during the military operations dating from
August 6th to Aug 10th During that period,
4845 cases were evacuated by this unit
the personel of which was 40% under strength
at the time. The pier from which the evacuation
took place was subject to daily intermittent shell
fire
