I am glad you are getting on well at school, if you go on the way you are you will soon be out of the Infants, I was sorry to hear you had been sick but I hope you are bettsr again by this, I am still in hospital but dam feeling alright, so I wont be leee much longer now. I am sending you a post card that I took off a dead Surkish Officer, so till dad to send it to one of the papers & ask for the owner as it & belonged to one of our boys. well I think that is all for the present so Good-Bye for a while. Love to Mum & Dad & yoursel I remain your Afffec Brother Willie

I got your three letters safely 

& I was very pleased to get them. I am glad you are
getting on well at school, if you go on the way you 

are you will soon be out of the Infants. I was 

sorry to hear you had been sick but I hope you are 

better again by this. I am still in hospital but 

I am feeling alright, so I won’t be here much longer 

now. I am sending you a post card ^photo that I took off a
dead Turkish Officer, so tell Dad to send it to one of 

the papers & ask for the owner, as it belonged to one of
our boys. Well I think that is all for the present, so 

Good-Bye for a while. Love to Mum & Dad & Yourself.
