Dear Madam,
I regret to inform you I am in receipt of advice
from Egypt to the effect that the report of your son No.661
Bugler P.H. Russell, 20th Battalion, conveyed to you through
the Military Commandant, New South Wales, as having died on
board the "Galeka" of Cerebral Hernia, is now corrected and
should read "Died of cerebral haemorrage supervening bomb
"wound head".
